Walking down Main Street in Little Rock on October 7th, 2017 would not have been a normal Saturday stroll. Celebrating the 7th Annual Main Street Food Truck Festival, central Arkansas flocked by the thousands to smell the comforting aromas of over 50 food trucks, speculate at the dozens of craft vendors, and enjoy the diversity of entertaining buskers. Spanning over six blocks, this festival involves plenty of walking, a plethora of food, and a great deal of boisterous activity.

The Main Street Food Truck Festival was originally brought to life to support the reconstruction of the Little Rock Main Street, to encourage more growth in the area. Since the efforts to rebuild Main Street in the past seven years, and to reunite Main Street with the public, many businesses have made their home here. Samantha’s Top Room & Wood Grill, Bruno’s Italian Restaurant, Soul Fish Café, Bruno’s Deli, CJRW and Waymack and Crew are just a few of the established businesses along the strip. The heart and soul of Main Street has even been renamed an attractive Main Street Creative Corridor, and has been promised to host the Arkansas Symphony, Ballet Arkansas, the Little Rock Technology Park, and more. It’s no surprise the media attention the Main Street Food Truck Festival itself has received, as investments have risen over $100 million for the mission restorations. When an internet search for the festival is administered, the top reports show this festival has made the top ten list of the “Best Food Truck Festivals in the United States,” and has been voted one of the top food festivals in Arkansas by Arkansas Times readers.
It’s almost redundant to mention that rebuilding and bettering the community is parallel with EatMyCatish standards. With that familiar brilliant red trailer, at a shady scene on Main Street between 6th and 7th, EatMyCatfish joined the party among the food trucks on this Saturday. Those who joined us for this soiree were able to take a minute from the walking, relax at one of our patio tables, and enjoy a hot plate of one of the many meals our menu has to offer. This all-day event was full of fun festivities, and EatMyCatfish especially enjoyed our time on Main Street.
Join us for the 8th Annual Main Street Food Truck Festival in 2018!
