Eat My Catfish is partnering with The Mayfly Project. This national organization was founded in Benton, AR in 2015 by Jess and Laura Westbrook. Jess’ idea to use fly fishing as a tool to support children in foster care was derived from how he used fly fishing as a therapeutic tool to manage his own anxiety.
There is an average of 415,000 children in foster care and with The Mayfly Project it’s possible for these kids to decompress from the worries, up and downs and unknowns of life.
Please help Eat My Catfish reach the donation goal of $2,340 for The Mayfly Projects so together we can help support children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, with a hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for foster children to have fun, feel supported, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.
Purchase a $20 t-shirt where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Mayfly Project.
