In the blink of an eye, everything can change. On March 31st, our beloved Little Rock location was struck by a devastating tornado, leaving our facility in ruins. It was a terrifying experience, but amidst the chaos and destruction, we found solace in the incredible strength and resilience of our staff. Today, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to them for their remarkable courage and dedication in ensuring everyone’s safety. We also want to share the progress we’ve made in the reconstruction process and our unwavering commitment to serving the Little Rock community once again.
A Storm Unleashed:
The fateful day of March 31st will forever be etched in our memories. The tornado tore through the Breckenridge Shopping center, including Eat My Catfish of Little Rock, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Our hearts sank as we witnessed the wreckage of the place we had built with love and dedication. However, amidst the devastation, our priority was clear: the safety and well-being of our staff and guests.
Gratitude for the Heroes Among Us:
We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to our incredible staff members who handled the crisis with unwavering professionalism and bravery. They remained calm, ensuring the safe evacuation of everyone present. Their quick thinking and selflessness saved lives and prevented further harm. We are immensely proud of their dedication to our organization and their commitment to the community we serve.
Rebuilding and Progress:
In the face of adversity, we refuse to be defeated. We have already embarked on the journey of rebuilding our restaurant. The process has been challenging, but with each passing day, we witness the progress rising from the rubble. Our team of architects, engineers, and construction workers are working tirelessly to create a new and improved space that will exceed the expectations of our valued guests.
A Stronger Future Ahead:
While the construction continues, we want to assure the Little Rock community that we are still here for you. Our other three locations are fully operational and ready to serve your needs. We’ve doubled the catering capacity of our Benton, Conway, and North Little Rock stores. Despite the challenges we face, our commitment to serving Arkansas’ Favorite Catfish remains unwavering.
In fact, we have even more exciting news to share. As part of our commitment to the Little Rock community, we are thrilled to announce that we will be opening another Eat My Catfish location right here in Little Rock. This new addition will bring our mouthwatering catfish dishes even closer to you, ensuring that you can enjoy our delectable offerings with convenience and ease. Our second Little Rock location will be housed in the Riverdale Shopping Center, located at 2516 Cantrell Road.
We believe that this new location will not only cater to the demand for our beloved catfish but also contribute to the vibrant culinary scene in Little Rock. It will serve as a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional service and unforgettable dining experiences for our valued customers.
As we forge ahead with our expansion plans, we remain steadfast in our determination to come back stronger than ever and reclaim our position as a vital hub in the Little Rock Metropolitan area. The support and loyalty of the Little Rock community have been instrumental in our growth, and we are excited to embark on this new chapter with all of you.
Community Support and Encouragement:
Throughout this challenging period, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and encouragement from the Little Rock community. Your kind words, acts of kindness, and belief in our ability to overcome this setback have been truly uplifting. We are incredibly fortunate to be a part of such a resilient and caring community, and we promise to repay your faith by returning with a revitalized space that will exceed your expectations.
A Summer of Resurgence:
As the construction progresses, we are excited to share that we are on track to reopen our Rodney Parham location later this summer. The new space will not only retain the charm and essence of the original Eat My Catfish, but will also incorporate enhancements and improvements that reflect our dedication to offering an exceptional experience to our customers.
The destructive power of a tornado cannot dampen the spirit of a united community. Our journey to rebuild Eat My Catfish of Little Rock- Rodney Parham is a testament to the strength and resilience that lies within us. We express our heartfelt gratitude to our remarkable staff for their unwavering commitment to safety and the well-being of all. As we continue the reconstruction process, we look forward to welcoming you back to a new and improved space that will stand as a symbol of our determination and enduring spirit. Together, we will rise from the rubble and write a new chapter in the history of Eat My Catfish.
