So you got an offer to work for Eat My Catfish! What’s next?
1. Your Decision: If you accept our offer, we’ll ask for some documents for legal verification.
2. Your Information: We’ll send you an email to join Proliant, our employee management software. This sets up everything from tax information to how you want to get paid.
3. Your Orientation: Your future manager will contact you with the details for your orientation session. This session will last just 1 to 2 hours and will cover everything from your pay and schedule to the different roles in the store. - TRAIN
It’s time for your 1st shift!
1. In-store Training: It should take about 8 shifts to complete your training. In this phase, you will be compensated according to the Arkansas Minimum Wage Act as you are not eligible for tips. Your pay will change as soon as you complete this phase.
2. Online Training: You’ll complete around 2 hours of online learning. This needs to be complete before you start your 7th shift as a Trainee.

Your Review Committee, made up of your direct leaders including your Area Coach, your Lead Manager, and your Store Managers, will work with Koree Walsh, our Hiring and Training Coordinator, to develop a personalized Professional Growth Plan based on your demonstrated performance and skills, what Eat My Catfish wants to see in our Managers, and a plan to connect the two. - Step 3: Your Offer Letter

6 - 8 weeks of On-Line and In-Store Training
Online:
You'll have a few self-paced, online courses to complete before the end of week 6.In-Store:
Weeks 1 - 3: Shadow
The first few weeks of MIT are spent shadowing your designated MIT Trainer. You'll have the chance to see the ins and outs of managing any location of Eat My Catfish and ask any questions along the way. This dedication trainer will be there for you throughout the process.Weeks 4 - 5: Side-By-Side
When you're ready, you'll take the lead with your designated MIT Trainer by your side. For the first time, Team Members will look to you for a smooth shift. And you'll do it all with your Trainer by your side.Weeks 6 - 8: Solo Shifts
Finally, you're ready to go it alone. During these weeks, you'll lead the shift on your own. But don't worry. Your MIT Trainer is always just a phone call or text away.
